Since 2000, Kadamba has conducted hundreds of health camps across Uttara Kannada district in collaboration with KS Hegde Medical Academy Hospital and other partners, reaching nearly every village — including remote and hilly regions.
Background
The camps provide early diagnosis, preventive screening and essential medical care. The initiative is driven by a strong commitment to serve underserved populations, ensuring that even the most marginalised communities have access to basic healthcare services.
The first health camp with the Family Welfare Department of Karnataka was held in Sirsi on 1-11-2011; numerous check-up and specialty camps have followed across the district.
