Kadamba is committed to end-to-end solutions for its projects. Recognising the need for marketing support, it built a comprehensive rural marketing network to bridge the gap between producers and markets.
Background
Starting with a state-level marketing fair in Sirsi, Kadamba established the Kadamba Agro Producers Company and expanded its network across rural cooperative societies — enabling direct purchase of cocoa beans, coconuts, spices and homemade goods.
In a ground-breaking initiative, farmers in Hunsur and surrounding areas voluntarily shifted from tobacco to lac cultivation. With the Kisan Mitra Foundation, Kadamba organised a marketing event at Arasu Kallahalli, Hunsur, where it purchased lac directly from farmers.
