Kadamba has been involved in rural development and micro-management activities like Village Development Planning in many villages. Nakshe in Uttara Kannada is one, coordinated by Kadamba with the assistance of NABARD.
Background
NABARD adopted Nakshe through Kadamba as a 100% insurance-covered village. Some later development plans stalled for lack of NABARD grant.
Kadamba’s multi-dimensional socio-economic activities continue in the village — horticulture development, health referral services and rural marketing initiatives supporting farmers and rural entrepreneurs.
