Evidence-based decision-making and inclusive governance
Kadamba Foundation supports evidence-based decision-making by conducting applied research and impact studies, providing policy advisory and technical support to public institutions, and supporting inclusive and accountable governance frameworks.
About this area
Kadamba’s work integrates field-level implementation, applied research and policy advisory, enabling evidence-based solutions that strengthen communities and institutions for long-term resilience.
Its field programmes have long been built on research partnerships — reviving lac cultivation with ICAR-IINRG, Ranchi; developing teff with CSIR–CFTRI; introducing palmarosa under CSIR–CIMAP’s Aroma Mission; and working with CPCRI to rejuvenate vanilla.
Kadamba also introduced a US-patented microbial consortia methodology for soil-health management, and designed the E-Grama concept for rural e-services in 2011.
Our approach
Field trials of new crops and practices with national research institutes.
Data-driven planning and evaluation of programmes.
Technical support to public institutions and governance frameworks.
Government, academia, industry and civil society working together.
